Blast I reckon is the same. Recoil is about the same. I think mine cuts more flip for a pistol round

Franken Ruger prices.
$500 for the basic shroud and barrel up to 14" installed on your gp100
Add trigger, timing, action work. $150
Add muzzle brake. $85 plus the brake of your choice.
I recommend the egw scope base. They require two holes to be drilled and tapped
If you want a mid mount so you can have irons and a red dot the custom mount cost $75.
Add a dx front sight base. $100

Good news Chris, I just won a 357 Blackhawk on a auction, it might be a few months till I can send it to you (unless you have a payment plan ), but it'll be getting the Franken-Ruger treatment, along with action and trigger work, plus cerakote cuz it is ugly. I'm thinking about a 12 or 14" barrel with a long shroud topped off with one of your brakes. I'm also thinking about a set of Hogue Big Butt stocks for it, those should ride a bag really well. It should make for a real nice shooter when done. Now the money.........

The black hawk shrouds haven't been designed yet. They will have to include an ejector rod and a very long cyl pin. I hope you ment redhawk or gp100

It's a Blackhawk, When ready it will be a prototype and another pin in your hat, start thinking about how to get it done and I have to think about how to tell my wife I bought yet another pistol without asking her

We will have to make it so the handle on the ejector rod can be removed. So it won't snag a rest and pull your shot. Won't need to speed reload anyways.
